Linda has worked as a college counselor for thirty years and is a leading expert in the college admissions field. For sixteen years she was chair of the Counseling Department at Newton North High School in Newton, MA, and she has served as a counselor supervisor at the Fay School and as a consultant for the Easton Public Schools. She is currently an independent college admissions consultant.
For fifteen years Linda was a consultant to the College Board, elected as a member of the New England Regional Council and the Financial Aid Division Advisory Committee. She served as president of the New England Association for College Admission Counseling, and she was a mentor at the NEACAC Summer Institute on College Admission.
Linda is a familiar figure at many top universities, not only as a college counselor but also as an instructor and researcher in counseling methodology. She has taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and conducted research in the Department of Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School, in addition to spending two years as a lecturer in the Department of Counseling and Human Development at Suffolk University.
Linda gives talks at numerous conferences and workshops on the college admissions process and the issues involved in counseling. Her presentations range from “The Psychological Aspects of College Counseling” to “Communication with Parents.”
Linda helps students with their college admission essays. Her rate is $250 per hour.
